May 18 and 19, 2010 - LEED Training: EMO President Eric Oliver will be providing a 2-day Workshop on LEED and Sustainable design Strategies on May 18th and 19th at the Congressional Country Club in Potomac, MD. The event is sponsored by the National Capital Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and will allow participants the ability to learn about LEED, sustainable design practices, and enegry conservation. May 27, 2010 - Sustainability 101 Workshop: EMO President Eric Oliver wil be presenting at the March 2010 meeting of the NAIOP MD/DC chapter as part of a continuing Sustinabaility lecture series. The lunch meeting will be held at the EMO Headquarters office,which has recently acheived LEED-CI (Commercial Interiors) Gold status. The talk will focus on the benefits of sustinability, how to use the LEED program to your benefit, and strategies such as energy modeling and building commissioning.
