EMO Energy Solutions is an energy efficiency and sustainable design consulting company that provides services for the residential, commercial, institutional, government, and industrial building sectors. Since its incorporation in 1998, the Virginia based company has recognized that energy efficiency is not only a cost-effective way to put more money in the pockets of home and building owners each month, it also protects the environment by reducing the amount of natural resources consumed and greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.

Eric Oliver, P.E., CEM, LEED-AP, President

Mr. Oliver is founder and president of EMO Energy Solutions. He is a Professional Engineer licensed in Virginia, a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional, and Certified Home Energy Rater with over 23 years of energy and utility management experience specializing in supply side and demand side energy management, energy audits, facility assessments, and energy simulation modeling with experience in the private, utility, and government sectors. His experience includes comprehensive energy audits, energy modeling, utility rebate program analysis, technology feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, public-private partnerships, and development of energy conservation strategies and policies. He has also conducted energy training seminars, developed energy awareness and education campaigns, and has been a presenter and moderator at several energy conferences. He is a former President of the National Capitol Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), has served on the Board of Directors of the National Capitol Region Chapter of the US Green Buildings Council, and is currently President of the Virginia Sustainable Building Network (VSBN).
